I have done work in different mediums as well as wood and I have been to approximately 20 exhibitions and some workshops. Basically all artists do painting in paint and mix media so at this time it's very huge competition in art field. So we should use different mediums in paintings. Asif works in a very unique manner. Instead of using any paints or canvas. He chose natural wood as a medium to express his thoughts and skills in Visual Art. If we talk about this painting, Asif depicts man-made beauty through the indo- Islamic architectures and chooses natural wood as his medium so that he is able to connect his thoughts to nature.
