Inspired by knotted cords such as those of the Incas, this work uses cotton threads knotted into a script. The knots are countable and correspond to the sequence of numbers in the Latin alphabet. The texts relate to language and art. The language of art is expanded by another language in the sense that art is the language of the ineffable; it is pure feeling, which no human being can adequately express in words. The texts can be deciphered by counting the knots. Viewers are invited to unravel the enigma of the work.
