Walking Sunshine Through the Rain
Hand-dyed Canvas • Wood
Exploring the intersection between art and ecology. Fostering stories of interspecies co-evolution, biophilia, and connectivity.
Early morning misty walks on the beach. The only sound, the crash of waves unseen beyond the rolling fog. The receding tide leaves a beach combers delight as shells and sea glass dot the shore. Rocks emerge from underwater while whole worlds cling to the sides of them. Urchins. Anemones. Limpet shells displaying all their colors. Reminding the world of all its possibilities.
This piece is influenced strongly by the colors, shapes and textures of the natural world. Rooted in Nature and Story.
