This installation consists of stone blocks, each housing a metronome with a distinct rhythm. When all the metronomes are fully wound, they begin to "perform" simultaneously, each in its own tempo, creating a rhythmic composition that lasts approximately six minutes.
The contrast between the stillness and weight of the stones and the mechanical, rhythmic pulses creates a subtle tension-between permanence and transience, silence and repetition.
Each metronome follows its own time, evoking the coexistence of multiple temporalities and the individuality of inner rhythms.
The piece invites the viewer to listen closely, to perceive time not as a single, unified flow, but as a fragmented and layered experience.
