The Célibate Géométry
To add to the theorems and abstraction, imaginary solutions far removed from scientific and artistic generalities.
To deliver entities, vocabulary, gestures to forms. To discover genuine 'exceptions,' to reject what is serious, to generate analogies:
To electrify equations, to inject nonsense into them to derive new solutions. Like a machine, celibate geometry refuses and isolates the system of life.
It walks alone, with its own logic, without concern for finality. Its operation is based on an idea of rebirth by rejecting negation.
This discipline is simultaneously profoundly conscientious and utterly absurd.
It must be absolutely absurd and philosophically serious in terms of its proper functioning.
Beyond the artwork, I want my creative mechanisms to harmonize with everyday representations and perceptions. Once we agree that everything is constructible, there are no more limits. Everything is conceivable, and the most absurd ideas take on a special value. I reject the unimaginable; I develop all solutions; I construct my own science without necessarily expecting a good result. It's simply about doing things thoroughly and navigating in spheres of knowledge and ignorance where one feels comfortable. It involves unilaterally developing an experimental science where absurdity coexists with mechanics and poetry. A bricolage work, I stage the processes of elaborating my ideas and aim to guide the viewer through the convolutions of thought.
