In this ceramic work, 'The space Between', I explore the profound concepts of wholeness and nothingness and the strength
that lies in creating space. The sculpture I present reflects an intricate balance between presence
and absence, capturing the beauty in what is left unsaid and unseen.
In this deconstructed
cylinder with open, jagged edges, I explore the theme of erosion—both literal
and metaphorical. This work speaks to the inevitability of change and the
beauty of imperfection, where the strength of the form is found not in its
solidity, but in the spaces that allow light to pass through. It challenges the
viewer to see value in the voids, in the parts that have been lost or
intentionally left absent.
