The Matter of The Heart

The Matter of The Heart, by award winning art and design studio idontloveyouanymore, is an installation of hearts. A collection of lightboxes, each one flashing in time with a participants heartbeat. Wherever the participants are, whether far away or near the artwork, their hearts will remain in one space flashing together. Each lightbox is inscribed with a participants name and a small piece of information provided by the participant. The audience are invited to walk around the artwork, examining the interconnectivity of a community, like a graveyard of the living, celebrating the beating hearts of our cities, towns, and relationships.
