In this work I used a combination of a vacuum cleaner and a mannequin. The transparent mannequin can symbolize the person in space and the transparent material is used to express the space that the person occupies. At the same time, if the body is considered a container, the soul is the inner meaning. From this we can have a sort of association and resonance: the mannequin is related to the sweeping robot, or intended as a whole. How do we feel when "walking" aimlessly? She might be alone, she might be confused, she might be exploring ... And when we face "her", will we treat her as a person, a partner or will we have other psychology?
Its path is random and will spin a little if it encounters obstacles. When no one is around, he patrols the space he is in. If he meets someone, he will stop for a while. At this point, we will form an interaction with her. This sweeping robot can be controlled remotely, but I didn't. Because I pay more attention to his own choice of path, which includes characteristics of artificial intelligence and contingency based on specific environmental scenarios.
Nowadays, artificial intelligence is constantly evolving. However, while many people enjoy the convenience that artificial intelligence offers, they often ignore the problems behind them. The changes and even the thinking ability of artificial intelligence quickly overtook humans, and various problems appeared later.
I have avoided this topic in my work, because today's technical methods are not yet able to make the simulation robot completely human-like, but now there are some companies and teams that are researching to develop the simulation robot. So, I believe we will find the problem soon one day.
This is my first attempt at interactive art. I haven't developed a complete sensor and program, so as a replacement, I've used a smart sweeping robot that's already perfect enough to respond to spatial changes. Due to the special practical function of the work, the work also has a comedic effect.
