The essence of communication is the sending, receiving and feedback of information. However, the exchange of information between people cannot be as accurate as that of computers: the information we want to transmit during the communication process will be reduced, and some subjective misunderstandings and unclear expressions will aggravate this weakening.
The semantic content of any expression is divided into two parts: meaning and denotation. Meaning refers to the thought expressed, which is abstract, universal and objective. Meaning is accurately expressed through words in a real context. Connotation determines the meaning and also determines the presentation of the meaning. All words, tones, gestures or deeper forms of communication (poetry, music, film...) are communication tools.
