"precarity"
is a fragile, delicate and poetic transformation of the Tentacles
concept.
49
glasses filled with wine, are slowly moving high on the top of turning
Tentacles,
clinging, crashing, dancing, maybe even braking....and
sometimes
a bit of wine drips on the floor...
The
visitor cannot see that the tentacles are turning because they are
deep-black.
So, he/she always wonders, why the glasses on the flexible
top of
the canes are constantly moving-it looks as if they are only moved
by the
glasses in the neighbourhood. And he/she stays in permanent
tension,
afraid that the whole thing may brake and collapse..
A small
version with 5 glasses has allready been shown in a gallery in
Arles.
For Venice a stretched out version with 49 glasses is planned.
