Violent clashes broke out in Sidon in 2013 turning our home into a charcoal space. Gunshots came mainly from St.Elias Hill. Once the battle ended, I returned equipped with my painting tools. My instinct was to clean, so I poured water across the broken glass facade, gazing upon the hill in the background. As I moved the canvas squeegee across the surface, I left streaks of charcoal behind, my task: futile absurd in the face of war.
Under the film there will be water drops along with the tools.
