Playing with the role of bones in the classification of living things, "Figurative Stones", two ceramic whale bones inlaid with human faces, is inspired by Inuit art, a North American community characterised by a closeness to nature and a form of pantheism in which human beings and natural elements are not considered as separate categories of thought.
