Momentum reveals time passage through light, altered by human presence. It is represented by the beam of light in a room acting as a fabric of time.
The centerpiece of our installation combines a circular form with a disruptive element, activated by the viewer. The space begins in darkness, and as participants interact, light gradually reveals hidden references to time and systems. A single light source drives the entire installation, functioning as a timekeeping mechanism. Passing through rotating mirrored surfaces, the light refracts and casts shifting patterns across the walls, making the passage of time visible within the space.
Momentum creates a space for visitors to reflect and reconsider their relationship with time & themselves. Beyond observing, viewers become an active part of the workâtheir presence transforms darkness and light revealing hidden patterns. In doing so, they are not just witnesses but co-creators of the reality they perceive, shaping the experience of time within the installation.
