The installation work is structured on a hexagonal base from which rises a dome completely covered with live vegetation. At the apex of the dome a votive tray filled with earth on which a sewing thimble hovers, thanks to a magnetic levitation system.
The work tends towards an imaginative future where the flora continues its colonising motion and, having found a remnant of humanity (the thimble), raises it to the symbolic hope of rediscovered handicrafts, protection and transmission of knowledge, power and sacredness of the feminine.
The collective character of the work is given by the participation of dozens of women who donated a plant for the construction of the installation, thus underlining the silent vitality of a feminine that is increasingly self-determining.
