From a series of portraits of people in their private spaces, their homes. “We rarely get to see this much detail about someone’s life unless we are in a close relationship with that person. I hope to make viewers feel a sense of closeness with portrayed person. Even though they know nothing about them, even tho they have never met before.”
Intricate Hand Cut paper is framed in hand built wooden frame, between two acrylic sheets. Designed to be hanging on ropes from a stand made out of Recycled New York construction Scaffolding (colour blue). Can also be hung directly from the ceiling on ropes. The piece is viewable from all angles, designed to be displayed in the centre of the space. Partially transparent it engages the viewer by making them and the surroundings part of the art work.
