It is the porn industry now, with its predilection for pubic hairlessness that’s deeply entrenched in our psyches, indirectly determining this taste for impersonating prepubescent & removing all around our nether regions.
Inspired by Rubens’ painting of Samson and Delilah, this work reverses the roles of victim & betrayer & discusses the societal pressure on women to remove their body hair.
