In mythology copper has always been associated with the goddess Venus because of its shiny appearance, its use in the production of mirrors and for its main mining area, the island of Cyprus, where the Goddess who “emerged from the sea” is said to have been born.
Luce di Venere offers to the eye of the beholder, the abstraction of a sea with minimal vibrations. From copper waves, delightfully responsive to the light and forged by a chiseling process mindful of the mosaic art, the goddess of beauty seems to emerge.
This artwork emanates the stillness of an Orientalizing style, is forged with a faithful listening to the breath. The beholder can sink into the absence of pain, and linger over myriads of kaleidoscopic vibrations.

If the “Natura” collection was focused on the germinative powers of earth, in this series focus is on the secrets of sky, in contemplation of stars with infinite variations of light.
