The installation is a labyrinth, a work in response to a new interpretation of the “7 Contemporary Sins” and was first built in Malvezzi Castel, 2012.
This work opens a conversation about how we perceive news from mass media, overwhelming and built around us while we get lost in them.
The structure in metal is the support for hundreds stripes of newspapers, connected together to build papers’ walls for the maze. When people entered the architectural structure, experienced the subconscious phobia caused by loosing orientation. The panic that labyrinths have always been representing. The thin stripes of paper, amplified the play of disorientation, making your way out of the installation more challenging.
