Material: Lotosfrüchte-getrocknete fruits of lotos,Federstahldraht-spring steel wire,gold-painting wall
The installation with dried
lotus fruits is combined with spring steel wire and a mirror.
The work is dedicated to
nature, without the work appearing to be natural.
The plant parts are set in
motion (draught), merge with the space - the golden background - and are bathed
in light (spotlighting).
Properties (colour,
structure, movement and form, etc.) of the plant are highlighted and re-staged
and thus made tangible.
Again and again I enter
into a process of getting involved with nature,- in respect and regard for
nature - in order to recognise and see, to work with it and to place it in a
new context.
A stage for the new view -
another view - my view.
The installation was
created for the exhibition natura artis magistra, Museum Schloss Moyland.
To the work KRÄFTE
STERNSCHNUPPEN GLEICHEND / MIGHTS RESEMBLING FALLING STARS
a Haiku (Jap. short poem) was created by Frank
Schablewski:
and with aim and end
mights resembling falling
stars
here endlessness now
Notes on the explanation of the work:
The wall would ideally have to be a wooden
wall so that the thinnest holes, thickness 0.8mm, per spring steel wire, can be
technically executed.
The wall colour should ideally be gold to
support the effect and statement of the work.
Lighting is equally important.
