“Infinity” — is a suit-cocoon that seems to weave itself, and when this process is complete, it transforms into a butterfly.
It is an image of rebirth and resurrection, a metaphor for the endless transformation that each of us, as well as entire countries and eras, pass through. The cocoon here is a form of confinement, but at the same time a necessary state of transition, a mystery of isolation, and an existential dead-end that we often mistakenly take for the end. It can be captivity, the dungeons of fate, a crushing life crisis, or the voluntary confinement of the mind. But “what the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the Master calls a butterfly.”
The threads binding the cocoon descend as if from heaven to take shape. They testify to the indivisibility of the material and spiritual worlds, reminding us that the spirit always dwells within matter.
We are born for flight, but the path to it lies through earthly existence. A butterfly is not born in turmoil — the spirit requires daily work and tolerates no vacuum. This work is a visual exploration of the transformation of the human spirit, where the image of the cocoon and the butterfly goes beyond biology, becoming the ancient archetype of the maturity of the soul — “Psyche.”
