faglia is a breach open to another dimension.
faglia is a doomed attempt to materialize the void.
Emptiness is, by its nature, absence, absence of attributes, absence of codes, absence of peculiarities. an empty space is a space with infinite potential. it is a space of possibilities waiting to be built.
faglia is the paradoxical attempt to materialize the void. It is at the same time a metaphorical opening on the dimension of absence and a form made of darkness that occupies the architectural space of a room. The sculpture, painted with a special black paint that cancels its three-dimensionality, represents a glimpse into nothingness, a breach in the diaphanous surface of a wall that becomes a threshold between two dimensions and a point of access to the infinite potential of emptiness.
