It takes talent to strike a partnership with matter, relinquishing the desire for total control.
Through
the use of light, heat and physical contact, matter sings itself into
new shapes, using the artist as a human conduit to reveal a truer image
of itself.
Cerberus, like the Holy Trinity, is one and three. In this sculpture, its mythological figure is revisited in reclaimed steel, glass and rare earth magnets. Its configuration is not fixed and can be altered, establishing a link between the artist and the end user. Creation is a continuum. Entropy will assert itself by altering the untreated steel.
