Life is sometimes very difficult. When faced with difficulties, people try to understand and solve them. Or they may sit still and depressed, unable to do anything about it. But, of course, we must move forward. When I encountered something very difficult that I didn't understand, I came across a phrase that expresses exactly this feeling. It is the opening phrase of the Inferno section of Dante's Divine Comedy.
It was then that I came up with the idea of expressing all the Inferno phrases on wire. The process was an act of prayer for me. I didn't intend for anyone to understand them, but for me the act itself had meaning. Lastly, I wanted to put them together and give them a pencil-like weight, to show that there is hope ahead.
