In this project, the artist is recreating the different contexts
of life, sculpting the human figure in a way narrating the
complexity of the Lebanese life. Beirut have passed throught
lots of destructive events, where the struggle is horendous,
throughout different generations, people suffered the com-
plexity of life and lack of safety and security. He intended to
transport the viewer back to the “War Impact” and bring back
the painful mind-set that urges the soul to fight with hope.
The sculptures are varied and take the shape of a struggling
human revolting throught its movements to express an emo-
tional behaviour. The scars, the cracks and the missing body
parts translate the statue’s terrific moments, transmit the
sentiments of real suffering, all the emotions and the state of
mind of the momentum. The paintings depict scenes from
the memories craved in the artist’s mind of bombarded plac-
es, where we can see the chaos stamped on the canvas. The
scars caused by the blast can be seen in the technique he
invented to imprint his remembrance and bring it into exis-
tence.
