The Human Animal
Like a ship
cuts and does not cut the see so we part and do not part ways with Nature
seeing ourselves in gods as well as in fleas.
“The Human
Animal” is a photography series using small spherical mirrors to bring the
public within the artwork. By shrinking us down to the size of an ant while
simultaneously giving us a God’s-eye view on the work the series creates a
fluctuating state between the inside and the outside, the mighty and the
fragile, ultimately letting us come face to face with our paradoxical nature.
What does it
mean to be human? And how does it affect the way we perceive the natural world?
