The idea that was to be conveyed in the photos was the feeling of romance, first moments together, fascination with the other person.
What Polaroid means to me is the fleetingness of the moment, disposability, no possibility of manipulation, and consequently trust.
I wanted to show photos that someone could take after a night spent together or a first date. Some of them seemed to be done furtively, a bit „broken”. The crooked positioning of the photographs in the passe-partout is intended to suggest the author's admiration for his object of fascination. Removing the picture from the frame that hangs on the wall and replacing it with a photo, which is now a work of art for her or him.
Imperfections are an essential element of the composition here. These are the imperfections that are absolutely perfect.
