Monument to Nowhere

Drk Light is a photographic exploration of hidden and overlooked urban spaces at night. Using long exposures and light painting, the series transforms forgotten corners of Glasgow into vivid, cinematic landscapes. Street art, industrial textures, and alleyways are illuminated with carefully controlled light, creating moments of stillness and theatricality in otherwise chaotic environments.

The project blurs the line between documentation and intervention by not simply recording what is seen, but reimagining it. Influenced by landscape traditions and experimental light-based work, Drk Light invites viewers to look again at the spaces they might normally pass by.
