Food is art.
How often do you hear this phrase?
In recent years, food is increasingly considered a form of art, due to the continuous search for a combination of flavors, to the most artistic ways of presenting the dish. But what if food actually became art?
"Menu" is a series of photographs where a ten-course tasting dinner based on the Tuscan tradition is proposed, in which each dish is inspired by a painting, chosen among the works of some of the most important artists in history.
The project aims, through the approach to paintings, to bring the viewer's eye back to art, raising the artistic side of the dishes and extrapolating it from the absolute concept of “simple” food.
