Society and the pace it moves at, the hectic, the confusion, the never ending race to keep up and progress, the stress involved into which we all fall, wanted or unwanted, the pace demands and won’t let go. These boxes, the images, the texts have been created as a contrasting position to this speed. They reflect and encourage the need to slow down, find moments of peace, space for less, space of mind to drift, a place amongst the noise in which we dwell, even if for a short moment. They are a quiet revolution against contemporary society, a counterweight to the everyday, a ‘time-out’ box, a place to be distracted from routine.
