I am a collector.

To keep and catalog objects has always given me pleasure. 
It started with me collecting memories and things that I was emotionally attached to, and it developed into an obsession to pile up ordinary objects in series.

I.D. photos are part of it. Flat light, no background, no composition. 
It is the only kind of picture that gives me the idea of cataloging people in the same way I do with objects. Each person is alone and in the same pose. Something about it is nostalgic, but not emotional. 

I began asking for these pictures to my family and friends when I was in primary school and since then I never stopped. 
That allowed me in some cases to have a collection of I.D. photos of the same person at different ages, including myself.
