Forms of possibility
Visual arts, such as photography, need not automatically lead to immediate resolution and an answer. My photographs are too complex and challenging for that. I translate personal knowledge processes into new "forms of possibility" and offer the viewer the opportunity to participate in my cognitive perceptions. The initially intuitive approach is based on my wealth of experience. Saved moments in life cause me to vary in my work. In doing so, I always remain open to the independent life of the emerging work.
All thermos flasks should keep the liquid entrusted to them warm or cold. Usually the outer forms are modern, traditional or simply neutral in use. The main thing is that it is tight and well protected against leaks. However, if you remove the outer covering, a completely different object appears. Reflective glass bodies in different sizes and shapes are now visible. The differences in their surfaces and shapes reflect their surroundings unexpectedly differently. In my photographic work, I trace these diverse new experiences and transform them into a common context. The serial presentation and the harmoniously coordinated coloring allow new, infinite forms of "possibilities" to arise.
