Crimson is from a series of abstract expressionist photographs taken in an oasis by the Persian Gulf Coast. Venus appears as a string of light. And the shadows of trees blend with the light pollution to result in ambiance similar to that in the amniotic sac or closed eyes on a summer's afternoon.
