Double exposure photograph from the series Elementi: acqua e legno. This photo-based artwork has been printed on paper and silk, and also exhibited as a light projection. The image features ocean waves in motion overlaid with dense, infinite foliage from the hyper-diverse primary forests of the Chocó region in Ecuador. Through this layering, the work explores the intersection of elemental forces—water and wood—and invites viewers to reconsider the boundaries between stillness and movement, surface and depth.
