Video of and installation done inside a gallery (Hyannis Harbor Art Center) which was creatively destroyed by a dancer at the end of the period which was 1 month.
It was titled Yellow Stretch/Red hook when first installed and when the dance collaboration was engaged, we changed the name to Stretch/Hook.
It took place in an old barn that was converted into a public gallery. It measured c 7m x 11m. The fabric was incorporated into the structure of the building. This, the first of these installations done inside, turned the entire room a bright yellow due to the reflective, transparent and translucent nature fo the material. There were two other variations done with live music, one at the Cotuit Center for the Arts ion Cape Cod and one done in France at the festival ZOU! in Sers .
The installation is up for a period of time and then the dancer destroys id creatively and with the musician improvising with the dancer.
