Being in lockdown during Covid gave me the opportunity to explore different movements in a smaller space as you can see. Exploring new and unimaginable paths with the body is one of the things that most fascinates me about dance. Being able to channel energy in a harmonious and yet complex way through the infinite possibili!es of movement, is something I really enjoy doing and cannot do without. I love to experience the power of dance in all its facets as a means of communica!on and expression, and as a spectator, but most of all as a performer. Dance reflects humankind’s ability to find new ways to deal with life. It is such a sacred thing with primitve roots,it represents hope, it makes you travel to other worlds, it is one of the most powerful naturalmedicines for the body and mind, and it can hit you deep in the heart. I simply cannot imagine life without it. I am eager to do as much justice as I can to this beautiful art form by sharing it and communicate with it.
"The function of dance is communication. . . . By communication is not meant to tell a story or to project an idea, but to communicate experience by means of action . . . out of this came a different use of the body as an instrument, as the violin is an instrument. Body is the basic instrument, intuitive, instinctive. As a result an entirely contemporary set of technics was evolved. (Brown, Mindlin, & Woodford, 1998, p. 50 )"
