In the Joseon Dynasty, there was something that was used regardless of origin or class in the status system, so it can be said that it was Gache and Gombangdae. As the times changed over time, these customs were modified by the government and the aristocracy, but the act itself was not forcibly prohibited, so it could lead to daily necessities for a long time.
This can be easily seen in the paintings of famous painters of the Joseon Dynasty: Kim Hong-do, a member who depicts the joys and sorrows of ordinary people. It can be said that Hyewon Shin Yun-bok is a person who expresses the style close to Hanryang's affair and the affection between men and women.
In their paintings, it is not difficult to find the use of Gache and Gombangdae regardless of their status, and in particular, the yangban, unlike ordinary people, used tobacco sticks decorated with gold, silver, and jade and made them into long jangjuk, which became a synonym for luxury along with gauze.
There was a privileged class who enjoyed a temporary horizontal relationship to their heart's content. It was called Gisaeng, a talking flower.
