In these hard times, of pandemic and shutdowns, this painting represents a tribute in my vision to all the loved ones that we lost and also a family portrait.
Because of COVID - 19, we have lost the way our life was until now. Sadly, we've lost grandparents, parents, friends...we also lost the joy of hugging, of holding hands because of the precautions and protection methods against COVID - 19. That why I represented the people joining hands and the dots represent the number of people that we lost.
But pandemic has also a bright side, it makes us realize that we need to fully live our life, to fight for a better future, for a better present, to love more, and appreciate our dear ones even more. I want to believe that after this pandemic, people will care for each other even greater than before and will start to realize much more about love, life, and the planet we live on.
To represents the unity of the family I had chosen to paint the grandparents with red, the young parents with orange, and the children with yellow, like in a rainbow.
