This painting emerged from a deeply personal process of grief following the loss of my father. In confronting the endlessness of life, I sought solace not through certainty, but through the act of imagining an afterlife. An exploration that was inspired by my readings of the 'Tibetan Book of the Dead' and 'History of the Occult'. I envisioned parallel worlds that coexist with ours, realms inhabited by unseen presences, paradoxically both distant and intimately close. This painting embodies that delicate balance between absence and presence, grief and reverence. A visual meditation on love’s persistence beyond physical separation.
