This diptych is part of a research project on the painting medium, approached in light of ecological and technological concerns that define contemporary discourse. Interpreting what critic R. Rubinstein describes as “provisional painting", the artist explores the processual nature of images created through interventions in acrylics and glue on previously altered photographic scraps. Their re-presentation as printed elements invites layered interpretations and semantic associations, sparking a dialogue between traditional media and new media.
