"Un tête-à-tête avec moi" - "A date with myself".
In a relationship it takes a lot of understanding, it takes compromise, it takes perseverance. You like the other person with all their quirks, support them when things aren't going so well, listen, understand, love.
I believe that these attributes are just as important for oneself as they are for a relationship – sometimes it's just not so easy to accept and implement these resolutions with regard to oneself.
This pencil drawing was made in over 120 hours of work and is one of my most personal works. "Un tête-à-tête avec moi" revolves around the topic of self-love. For myself, it is incredibly important to have enough time for myself. Then I have the possibility to allow any thoughts and feelings – even if they are not always positive and weightless. However, it is precisely this engagement with myself that gives me the opportunity to get to know myself better, to realize what I need, how I feel, who I am.
