Description
Three faces appear, disappear, then return — like thoughts we believed we had understood, but not quite.
Arrows move through the composition, hesitating, contradicting themselves and insisting at the same time. The painting oscillates between abstraction and figuration, combining expressive gestures, fragmented faces and graphic signs.
Layers of color, spontaneous marks and overlapping directions create a vibrant visual tension where perception constantly shifts. Humor and instability coexist within the same pictorial space.
Meaning
This work explores uncertainty, perception and the fragile mechanisms behind decision-making.
The arrows symbolize the contradictory inner movements that shape our thoughts and choices. The faces seem to search for orientation while simultaneously losing it, reflecting the instability of identity and interpretation.
I am interested in the moment when certainty collapses and ambiguity becomes productive. Humor plays an important role in the work: it creates distance while revealing the absurd complexity of our inner dialogue.
