This approach is not
only a visual reinterpretation of reality but also a mapping of psychological
processes—it compels the viewer to actively participate in the assembling and
deduction of meaning during the act of looking. When figurative clues are dispersed,
the viewer must rely on inner experience and perceptual logic to “reappear” the
scene, thus transforming the act of viewing from passive reception to active
construction. This generative nature of seeing is precisely the deeper
experience the Reappearance series seeks to guide: to be reborn through
deconstruction, and to discover a new order of existence through rebirth.
