"The Tree of Life” is a contemporary pictorial work taking as reference the abstract expressionist movement. The theme of inspiration arose from the reflection of life and how all living beings have a small connection with each other. In turn, the process that we will have once our soul leaves our body and it joins the earth, becoming one with the world, continuing the union between other beings.
The tree of life is a fundamental archetype widespread in mythological, philosophical and religious traditions around the world that can have significant differences depending on the culture in which we find it; however, the thought always has the same basis: life and union. Being related to the astral world, it symbolizes the connection with the environment, both on the physical and spiritual planes. Representing the connection between spaces, the roots connect with the underworld, the trunk with the world and the branches that extend beyond the sky.
This tree symbolizes our life from birth to our end, which is when the tree reaches the heavens. The tree emerges from the roots, where this natural cycle begins. The trunk represents that union between birth and death: the path of life, where we have our personal growth and development. The branches that appear on the tree branch in all directions, symbolizing the different decisions that are made on the path of life, each of which leads down a certain path.
"The Tree of Life" represents in a cosmic way the union of all beings and our path as individuals, since in the end it is part of the cycle of life.
