Silence. Translucent emerald shadows of sleeping lotuses and passing birds. Dreams that graze the edge of reality, fragile and fleeting.
In my current series of works, I turn to the image of the Japanese lotus – an ancient symbol of purity and the continuity of life. The pond space becomes for me a metaphor for the dialogue between nature and humanity.
Here, every detail acquires meaning: the shadow of a person, a bird flying by, a feather fallen on the water. All this helps us remember our true essence beyond the noise and endless race of life. Life changes, but it does not disappear.
