I am interested in the moment when form loses its certainty and enters a state of becoming.
The starting point of this research was my personal experience of migration - living in a state where a former identity no longer exists while a new one has not yet fully emerged. This experience became the foundation of my artistic practice.
I create spaces in which no form is ever final but exists only as a temporary state. The space of my work is filled with fluid organic forms that exist in a continuous state of transition: they are in the process of becoming, dissolving, reappearing, and gradually transforming into one another. In my work, familiar boundaries disappear. A body may become part of a landscape, a plant may turn into a flowing current, and space itself begins to acquire the qualities of a living organism.
The painting and the relief work are part of the same process in two different physical states. Working with the same material - oil paint - and within the same colour palette, I explore form in two states: both on the flat surface of the canvas and in relief.
In the painting, the process of becoming unfolds through fluid organic forms. In the relief work, the same process becomes material: the brushstroke is released from representation and transforms into an autonomous form. Both works represent two states of the same investigation, in which every form exists only as a temporary condition.
