This painting was created for the exhibition A Hundred Words for Snow. The theme made me reflect on what winter truly means to me. Winters can be tough—dark, cold, and lonely. But they also hold space for something deeper: recreation. In the quiet and stillness, we are given the chance to pause, to reflect, and to rediscover the light that hides within us. For me, winter is a time of inner work, of soft transformation. And just like snow begins to melt and the world awakens again, we, too, rise—stronger, brighter, and more in touch with ourselves.
