Hysteria is a state of psyche in which words are missing. The hysteria is wordless. It expresses the inexpressible thing. This is what exactly words lack. A person screams when he has no words to say, but he wants to be heard. But why does he has no words? Because he cannot discern and realize what exactly is hurting him. And he cannot explain to another person why he is in pain. This is on the one hand. On the other hand, for me as an artist it is about integration, acceptance of my own history (according to Freud). The diagnosis of "hysteria" is no included in international registries, but this does not mean that people have no hysterics. I have been going through personal psychotherapy for a long time, trying to learn how to control this state of mine. I am learning to distinguish and describe my state, and I know that where there are words, there is no hysteria. The Symbolic is opposed to hysteria. This is the solution. And thirdly, it is about accepting your own history in general - whether it is my hysteria, or any other woman, and for a man - his wife or mother. The subconscious brings us back to unpleasant situations so that we can relive and cope with them. It is brings back the gestalt. So it is better to experience that through the picture than in real life.
