In a desire to abolish borders and deconstruct the national identities that keep us apart, I use the figure of the child as the spokesperson for a bright future. My work is done entirely with acrylic paint on canvas in a realistic tendency, using surrealist and symbolist processes in which I depict the world in a form of anonymity. The wallpapers painted with the traditional screen printing technique, raises the question of beauty and how things are viewed positively. Through these wallpapers that I place in the background, I no longer remind the world of what it is going through, but I vitrify and sublimate its flaws, thus creating a reality which we all dream of. The viewer is thus absorbed by the vivid colors, the flowers held out to them as a gift.
