Concept of creation:
I was taught by my elders that there is a god above my head, so I drew Taiwan’s landmarks on my head to show my respect. The landmarks in this painting include the Lanyang Museum in Yilan, the Sanxiantai Cross-Sea Footbridge in Taitung, the Hot Air Balloon Carnival, and the golden needle flowers in Hualien.
The aboriginal totems in the background are from top to bottom: the Sakizaya, Taroko, Amis, and Puyuma. Because the aboriginals like hunting, they use fur to make shawls, but I use artificial leather instead.
