This work is inspired by Sonia Delaunay’s radiant exploration of color, movement, and abstraction — a visual language shaped by her Ukrainian heritage and the modernist spirit of Paris.
In this composition, the sunflower becomes a living constellation of rhythm and light. Traditionally associated with warmth, endurance, and the landscapes of Ukraine, the flower is transformed here into a dynamic structure of intersecting forms and luminous color fields. Through layered yellows, deep contrasts, and circular motion, I explore the emotional resonance of color as an active force — echoing Delaunay’s theory of simultaneity, where hues vibrate and respond to one another like music.
The sunflower emerges not as a still object, but as an energy in motion: radiant, resilient, and quietly defiant.
C’est une poésie en couleur — une mémoire vivante portée par la lumière.
